Dimmer
The luminaire has a dimmer at the beginning of the LED strip. This works without contact.
As long as the hand is held in front of the dimmer, the brightness is changed continuously from 0 to 100%. With each new hand movement, the direction of dimming changes to brighter or darker. A quick, "wiping" movement of the hand under the dimmer switches the light off.
If the light is switched off with the wall light switch, the dimmer remembers the last brightness setting.
The dimmer is not compatible with other dimmers, such as those built into the light switch.
The following can be changed on request. (Please contact us before ordering.)
- Cable color: freely selectable
- Color of cable suspension and canopy: black or white
- Longer cable suspension for higher ceilings
About our lights
About our lights
Our lights are more than just light sources - they are a style element, an accent that brings naturalness into the style of your home. With their beautiful light and natural shape and structure, they become an eye-catcher in any room.
Each of our lights is a unique piece, made with great attention to detail. Every branch we use is a selected find from regional forests. The surface is the result of weathering. Furrows, wormholes and differences in color can occur and are also part of what gives it its authentic charm and tells a story.
We manufacture our lights by hand in our workshop. Every step is carefully executed to ensure high quality.

Tips for choosing the right light
What branch length is suitable for my table?
When choosing the branch length, safety, aesthetics and the illumination of the table should be taken into account.
To avoid bumping your head on the end of the light, we recommend choosing a branch that is 20 to 40 cm shorter than the length of the table. At the same time, the branch length should not be significantly shorter than this dimension so that the ends of the table are also sufficiently illuminated and the table and branch fit together well.
For tables with a length of 200 cm or more, we therefore recommend choosing a branch that is at least approx. 40 cm shorter than the table length.
How high should the light hang above the table?
We recommend hanging the light about 70 cm above the tabletop. This height ensures even illumination of the entire table and an attractive appearance. If the light is hung higher, the light may cause glare, depending on the height of the person.
How bright is the light?
The LED strip emits 1,430 lumens per meter and emits light at an angle of 120°. The brightness can be infinitely adjusted using the dimmer. For comparison: a classic 75W light bulb produces around 900 lumens, distributed in all directions.
Can I illuminate the room with the pendant light?
Thanks to the 120° beam angle, the light does not dazzle, but does not illuminate the side walls or the ceiling. Additional luminaires are therefore required to fully illuminate the room.
When customizing a new luminaire, the luminaire can also be fitted with a second LED strip that shines towards the ceiling.
Alternatively, in many cases a free-standing luminaire is sufficient to fully illuminate the room - depending on personal taste and desired brightness.
Questions about the luminaire
Can I use a light switch with a dimmer?
The dimmer in our luminaire is not compatible with other dimmers, such as those in the wall light switch. If you would like to continue using the dimmer in the wall light switch, please inform us before ordering so that we can remove the dimmer in the luminaire for you.
How does the suspension work?
Each luminaire is suspended from two or three wire suspensions.
Each of these wire suspensions consists of three parts (see illustration):
1. the attachment to the branch of the luminaire
2. the cable (steel cable)
3. the attachment to the ceiling. This is called the ceiling bracket.
The ceiling bracket consists of a so-called cable gripper. The rope can be shortened or lengthened using the
rope gripper. The end of the
rope initially protrudes from the ceiling bracket. Once the final height
has been set, the cable is shortened and the end disappears into the ceiling bracket).
Can the height be adjusted subsequently?
The suspension is not designed so that the height can be changed again and again. Instead, the height is set once. We recommend that you first test the ideal height over several days and adjust it if necessary. Once the final length of the cable has been determined, the cable is shortened. The height of the light is then no longer changed.
What length of power cable do I need up to the power outlet on the ceiling?
The total length of the power cable is made up of two sections:
1. From the branch along the thin steel cable of the suspension up to the ceiling.
2. From this point on the ceiling further up to the power connection of the house power supply, where the canopy is also mounted.
The cable can be shortened later by an electrician. You should therefore carefully calculate the maximum cable length required before purchasing and allow for a reserve of approx. 10%.
When shortening the cable, make sure that the + and - connections are connected correctly.
How can I route the power cable of the luminaire along the ceiling to the canopy or the power connection?
If the power cable of the luminaire needs to be routed from the wire suspension to the cable outlet on the ceiling, it can be attached using small, inconspicuous brackets in white or black.

Please contact us before ordering a luminaire if you would like to order these brackets.
Questions about mounting
How do I mount the light correctly on the ceiling?
To fix the luminaire to the ceiling, the markings for the fixing points must first be determined correctly. We will provide you with instructions with the necessary measurements for your individual luminaire. You can use these instructions to proceed step by step. For luminaires with three suspension points, you will also receive a precise drilling template.
Can the canopy disappear into the ceiling?
The canopy not only serves to connect the cable of the luminaire to the mains power supply, but also contains the power supply unit that converts the current to the 12-24V required for the LEDs.
In the case of hollow ceilings, it is possible to conceal the power supply unit in the ceiling. In this case, you or your electrician can obtain a cover with a cable outlet from us. The cover replaces the canopy. Please contact us to discuss the details.
How is the luminaire attached to a sloping ceiling?
The ceiling mount works without restriction on sloping ceilings with an inclination of up to approx. 45°. If your ceiling is steeper or you do not like the look of the sloping ceiling mount, please contact us to find an individual solution together with you.
What do I do if I have a high ceiling?
The steel cables for the suspension are available in any length. The power cable of existing luminaires from the store can be extended under certain circumstances.
There are various options for this. Contact us before ordering if you need more than the specified length.
What do I do if there are beams on my ceiling?
If there are beams above the place where you want to hang the light, this is not a problem. If one of the fixing points is located exactly on the edge of a beam, move all the suspension points of the light a few centimeters to one side so that the relevant fixing point is on or next to the beam. In this case, the position of the table must also be adjusted so that the light hangs centrally above the table again.
When does the weight of the luminaire become a problem with cavity ceilings?
How much weight a cavity ceiling can support depends on the material and construction of the ceiling. The weight of the luminaire is distributed over the number of fixing points during suspension. The weight of the luminaires in the store can be found in the description of the individual luminaires.
As a rule, there is no problem with the weight of our luminaires. If you want to purchase a particularly large luminaire and you are unsure whether your ceiling will support it, we recommend that you ask a specialist on site who can advise you and find a solution for you if necessary.
