About Elumedo

We are a small two-man start-up from the beautiful Sauerland region in Germany. We put our passion into every single product. We are proud to use local woods and work closely with our regional cooperation partners. Our aim is to continuously work on the development of new models, variants and technologies. Each of our luminaires should combine aesthetics and function. We attach particular importance to preserving the naturalness of our branches. Each branch tells its own story and represents a work of art in its uniqueness.

About Daniel

In my job as an arborist, I occasionally came across special weathered oak branches. They awakened in me the desire to create something sculptural, aesthetic but also functional from them. This resulted in the first lamp, which found its place above our own dining table. It met with great interest from visitors. However, it took a few more years and Dirk's initiative for both of us and the oak wood to see the light and for the first do-it-yourself lamp to become the first lamp series.

About Dirk

The lamp that Daniel built himself inspired me. The unconventional design appealed to me. It was a contrast to the standardized look of other lamps. I am convinced that other people will enjoy the uniqueness of our luminaires as much as we do. To make this possible, I bring my many years of experience in industrial product development and practical company consulting to the table. I support our small company in the selection and procurement of complementary components and in building the structural foundations of the company's development.
